WWII arose due to economic and political instability of the German when Adolf Hitler came into power and formed his alliance with Japan and Italy.World War I took a period of four years between the years 1914 to 1918. World War I was also referred to as the Great War and was divided into two groups of powers, the Central powers and the Allied powers. The Germans, Turkey, Austria and Bulgaria formed the central powers while Italy, Russia, France and Japan constituted the Allied powers in which USA joined later in 1917. World War II also referred to as The Great Patriotic War took a period six years between the years 1939 to 1945. In World War II the opposing groups are currently known as the à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹Å"The Axisà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ and the other group is referred to as à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹Å"The Alliesà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬. Japan, Italy and Germany consisted of the Axis group while China, France, Soviet Union, United States and Britain constituted the Allies group (Immell 95).There were differences in the method of warfare was used and how genocide occurred. In World War I the Ottoman empire of the Turkey did the genocides of the Armenians. The difference is that in World War II the Nazis people of the Germany carried out the genocide against the Romans and the Jews. The method of warfare in the first war involved fighting from line of trenches and machine guns were mostly used. There was also assault of infants, use of some of the poisonous gas and movement of people was restricted. In the second war the Germans used Blitzkrieg fighting method against their enemies. There was also maximum use of submarines, tanks missiles and nuclear power. The other difference is the nature of war. In WWI th e war was between countries in which they fought because of acquiring resources, colonies and territory while in the second war was due to differences in ideologies such as communism and fascism. This was clearly portrayed in "The World Wars" (Immell100)On 28 June 1919 the Treaty of Versailles was signed with the Germans.
